Since November 21, 2018, a new high-fidelity boutique has seen the light of day and it’s Planète Haute Fidélité located at 543-B, rue Notre-Dame in Repentigny. The boutique is owned by Christian Vézina, who has over 25 years’ experience in the audio industry and as a hi-fi consultant. Music has always been his passion, and he had been toying with the idea of opening his own boutique for several years.

He and his good friend Sylvain Rocheleau have now done virtually all the layout and installation work. So much so, that the store is now open to the public, featuring several prestigious brands as well as more affordable audiophile-quality equipment.

The town of Repentigny is experiencing a real estate and cultural boom. These include the Centre d’Art Diane-Dufresne and, soon, the Théâtre Alphonse-Desjardins. Since Christian Vézina is originally from this area, he thought it would be a good idea to return there to pursue his passion and invest in his business. Having personally consulted and dealt with Christian Vézina when he was a consultant at Radio St-Hubert, I can assure you that the man is friendly and impeccably professional. In fact, there’s a good chance that you’ll be welcomed at Planète Haute Fidélité with a good espresso while relaxing in front of a good stereo system.
